AUTODIA supports the following principles:
· Technological development and further use of AI that aligns with human social, economic, and cultural progress, without hindering energy sustainability.
· Respect for the intellectual property rights of AUTODIA’s creators/rightsholders and respect for the opt-out decision expressed by the Organization on behalf of the rightsholders it represents.
· Effective and full transparency regarding protected works used by AI tools, and specifically by general-purpose AI models.
· Engaging in immediate negotiations and licensing of AI providers by CMOs.
· Fair and appropriate remuneration for creators from AI providers for the use of their works.
· Effective sanctions at the European level in case of non-compliance by AI providers with the above principles. The enforcement of these sanctions must extend to all providers operating within the EU, even if their headquarters are located outside the EU or if the training of AI models has taken place in territories outside the EU.
