Why should I join autodia?

Autodia is a non-profit Collective Management Organization that is managed and supervised by its own members, i.e. creators, songwriters or their representatives.

The Organization collects royalties on behalf of creators and rightholders in general from the uses of their works in public performance, mechanical reproduction and the internet, as well as the reasonable fee (private copy).

Is a Public Performance License mandatory?

For the public use of music to be legal, it requires the prior permission of the creator/owner.

Autodia provides, through the granting of the Public Performance License, the possibility for the licensed companies to use its represented musical repertoire without restrictions.

Dr. Margarita Panagiotopoulou, General Director of our Society, delivered a speech titled “Collective management of intellectual property rights of composers and songwriters” at a scientific conference held under the general theme, “Practical Issues of Intellectual Property.” The conference was co-organized on May 1st, 2026, at the Amphitheater of the University of the Aegean in Ermoupoli, Syros, by the Law School of the Greek branch of the University of Nicosia in Athens (UNIC Athens), the University of the Aegean, and the Syros Bar Association.
