AUTODIA: New Year's Eve cake-cutting event

AUTODIA held its annual New Year's Eve cake-cutting event on Friday, February 6, at the Polo Club estate in Varibompi. The event was attended by almost all of our Society's employees and representatives -including those from Thessaloniki, Crete, Patras and Rhodes-, the CEO Margarita Panagiotopoulou and the members of the Board of Directors and the Supervisory Board.

AI at the center of CISAC Annual Meeting in Budapest

CISAC’s annual meeting was hosted in Budapest, December 9–10, by its affiliate organization ARTISJUS Hungary. The primary focus of the discussions was the impact of Artificial Intelligence on the creative ecosystem.

AUTODIA at BIEM Mechanical Right Day 2025

MRD 2025- Vienna

Global developments regarding intellectual property and in particular mechanical reproduction rights were presented during BIEM MRD 2025. This is the annual meeting of CMOs on mechanical rights, which took place on November 6th, in Vienna with the participation of AUTODIA, which was represented by Christina Mergoupi, Head of Mechanical Rights/Sync & Private Copy, and Legal Advisor Jenny Gabriel.

AUTODIA, the certified Greek Collective Management Organization (CMO) for the protection of copyright regarding domestic and international music repertoires, will participate in the 89th Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) at HELEXPO from September 6 to 14, 2025. Marking its centenary, the TIF fosters political dialogue and business initiatives within an exhibition of international standards.

With the participation of 200 representatives from Collective Management Organizations (CMOs), music publishers and technology providers, the annual meeting of the Society Publisher Forum (SPF), organized by CISAC and ICMP (International Confederation of Music Publishers), was held in Toronto, with the collaboration of organizations such as AIMP, IMPA, IMPF, Music Publishers Canada, APEM, CMRRA, as well as sister society SOCAN.

The CISAC General Assembly in Sofia that hosted more than 100 delegates of CMOs, including the AUTODIA BoD Chairman Yiannis Glezos and the CEO Margarita Panagiotopoulou, was successfully completed.

Event on New Developments in Intellectual Property Law

An event on New Developments in Intellectual Property Law was held on 20th May, at the "Alkis Argyriadis" Hall of National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, in the context of the presentation of the Collective Volume "Intellectual Property, Interpretation under Article L 2121/1993" (published by NOMIKI BIBLIOTHIKI), which was edited by the internationally distinguished lawyer at the Supreme Court of Athens and Professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Nicosia, Cyprus, Irini Stamatoudi.
