Law Complaint

Please be informed that, in accordance with Article 42 of Law 4481/2017, AUTODIA accepts complaints from its members, as well as from domestic or foreign collective management organizations (or associations thereof)—within the framework of unilateral or reciprocal representation agreements concluded with the latter—regarding any matter concerning the purpose, operation, and competencies of our Organization. This applies, in particular, to issues related to rights management entrustment agreements (and their termination, or the withdrawal or revocation of rights), terms of membership admission, the collection of royalties, deductions, and the distribution of rights-related revenue.

Such complaints must be submitted in writing and include the complainant’s name and email address. They must also be accompanied by documentation substantiating the complainant’s status and the validity of the complaint (as deemed by the complainant). Complaints may be sent to the Organization via postal mail, courier, or email to [email protected] ; alternatively, they may be submitted in person at our offices during business hours. A complaint form is also available for use, which can be obtained at our offices or via our website. Every complaint is registered as an incoming document, and the complainant is notified of its receipt via email within three (3) working days of its arrival or submission.

The Organization shall examine complaints within a maximum period of twelve (12) working days from the date of receipt. The response provided will always include a justification and will be communicated to the complainant via email.

In the event that a complaint cannot be examined due to a lack of information, the complainant shall be requested to provide supplementary information; in such cases, a response shall be communicated to the complainant within seven (7) working days of receipt of said supplementary information. Complaints that are manifestly unfounded or inadmissible shall be filed away, as shall those rejected on legal or substantive grounds. Complaints requiring further investigation shall be referred to the competent bodies of our Organization, while those initially accepted shall be referred for further action either to the relevant bodies of our Organization or to its Board of Directors, which shall examine the matter and reach a decision at its first regular meeting. In all cases, the complainant shall be notified via email.
