Mr. Giannis Gkiokas, Commercial Director of Public Performance, outlined the music copyright landscape in Greece from 2018 onwards, referring both to the challenges that emerged during this period and to the significant development of AUTODIA as the first Greek non-profit CMO in the field. He also highlighted the important opportunities arising from the collective licensing agreements that AUTODIA continues to conclude with a wide range of major users’ associations.
Furthermore, he noted that mutually beneficial cooperation, based on dialogue and respect, between AUTODIA and businesses using music across the country, constitutes a sustainable solution to users’ concerns.
During the Forum, the positive climate of cooperation established by our Organization was reaffirmed with Mr. Giorgos Kavvathas, President of Hellenic Confederation of Professionals, Craftsmen, and Merchants (GSEVEE), Mr. Giannis Voutsinas, President of the Union of Hellenic Chambers of Commerce (UHCC), and Mr. Chrysostomos Karellis, President of the Chamber of Fthiotida.
