The TIF, which celebrated its 100th anniversary this year, attracting over 225,000 visitors, operates as a core of political dialogue, business extroversion and innovation.
At the AUTODIA booth, which was supported by the staff of the Athens head office and the Thessaloniki branch, visitors had the opportunity to learn more about the Organization in general, as well as about the innovative interactive applications it has developed, both for creators and users, such as the Member Portals, the Domestic Repertoire Portal and the Online Public Performance License Portal (my.autodia).
The Organization's booth was visited, among others, by Mr. Kostas Gkioulekas, Deputy Minister of Interior responsible for Macedonia-Thrace issues, Mr. Alexis Tsaxirlis, General Director of TIF, Ms. Athena Stavridou, TIF administrative executive, concert organizers, composers, representatives of organizations, students and many others. In addition, in-person contacts -in the presence of the AUTODIA BoD Chairman, Mr. Yiannis Gezos- were made with representatives from Ministries, Local Government Administration, the Region of Central Macedonia, Universities, the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, Research & Scientific Institutes, Commercial Chambers and Media Groups.
The aim of the presence of AUTODIA was to strengthen its institutional role as a pillar of healthy cooperation between creators / rightsholders and the market.
The CEO Margarita Panagiotopoulou stated regarding the Organization's participation in TIF: "Intellectual property is a driving force for cultural production and at the same time a growth lever for sectors of Greek entrepreneurship, such as communication, technology, catering, entertainment services, tourism and retail".
Within the framework of Music Events, the 89th TIF hosted, with a large turnout, a rich concert program, to the rhythms of the biggest names in the Greek music scene - including artists members of AUTODIA -, such as PYX LAX, Petros Iakovidis, Sakis Rouvas, Paola, Anastasia, etc.
