The discussions covered CISAC’s strategic priorities and ongoing work, the impact of AI on various creative sectors and the related policies of CMOs, the presentation of CISAC’s Global Study on Private Copying, the challenges in collecting royalties from live performances, and the opportunities for music licensing in video games.
In this context, CISAC’s guidelines on GenAI for audiovisual organizations were presented, while key copyright infringement cases of the Court of Justice of the European Union were also examined.
With the participation of numerous representatives from across Europe, the European Committee once again provided an excellent opportunity for the exchange of views, alignment of priorities, and strengthening of collaboration within the collective management sector.
