AUTODIA, within the framework of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, served as an institutional supporter of the joint open event organized by the non-profit organization “Asterodeia AMKE” and the P.A.D.A. – Antidrug Action Institute.
“Asterodeia” is a non-profit organization established to support women and motherhood, promote family development, and combat domestic violence.
The event was held on Thursday, 19/2, at the event hall of the Athens Nursing Home, of “Asterodeia,” under the theme: “Youth Violence – Contemporary Drugs and Addictions,” with the participation of numerous parents, educators, legal professionals, scientists, and young people.
The event was honored by the presentations of:
- Georgios Andrinopoulos, Secondary Education Professor, President of KEMETE of OLME
- Maria–Eleni Gremou, Sociologist – Criminologist, Analytical Psychotherapist
- Eleni Bakouri, PhD in Toxicology, former Head of the Narcotics Department of the General State Laboratory
- Stella Dragatsiki, President of First Instance Courts, Juvenile Judge
- Maria Karpathaki, World Taekwondo Champion
The overall organization and coordination of the event were overseen by the President of “Asterodeia,” Zacharoula Griela, while the presentation was conducted by the Secretary of P.A.D.A., Kleopatra Vrontou.
On behalf of AUTODIA, Ms. Ilianna Antoniou, Director of Communications & International Relations, and Ms. Gioulina Manolatou, Head of Marketing, were in attendance.
In her opening address, Ms. Antoniou referred to the power of engagement with music as an experience of emotion and knowledge, capable of offering children and adolescents the opportunity to view the reality around them from a different perspective, to better manage stress and depression, to develop imagination, sociability, and cooperation, and to build a new bridge of reconnection with family, school, and society.
