Autodia was represented by the CEO Margarita Panagiotopoulou and the CIO Manolis Dimitriadis and their presence strengthened the dialogue around the issues on intellectual property rights in Europe.
The General Assembly brought together representatives of CMOs from all corners of the European Continent, working together to safeguard, defend and strengthen authors’ rights in an ever-changing technological and legal environment.
The discussions focused on issues of major concern to the collective management community, such as AI, digital innovation, while enhancing transparency and security in rights management, as well as the necessary legal and institutional interventions at a broader European level.
the presentations that showed that the Organizations have the capacity and the means to respond effectively to the challenges posed by AI were of great interest; both in terms of legal protection and in ensuring a fair, functional and ethical ecosystem for creators. Autodia actively participated in the exchange of know-how and best practices, strengthening the representation of Greek creators in Europe.
Autodia remains firmly committed to international cooperation, the protection of its members’ rights, as well as the close monitoring of technological developments. In this way, it manages to defend the position of Greek creators in the European and global cultural scene.
